Account Handler


Description

The Company

You will be working for a dynamic, highly reputable and Independent Insurance Broker who specialise in Property. You will become an important part of their experienced, professional and knowledgeable Insurance experts and will assist with the management of a portfolio of Property Owners Clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a company that provide their employees with excellent progression opportunities.

The Role

  • Servicing a portfolio of insurance products including Property Owners, Liabilities, Engineering, Terrorism, Contractors, Tradesman and Engineering
  • Dealing with individual small business clients as well as medium sized portfolios, with an overall book of premiums under £3,000,00
  • Responsible for handling a book of renewals
  • Building and maintaining relationships with insurers
  • Produce correspondence to required time-scales and quality standard
  • Issuing and processing new business documents, mid-term adjustments, cancellations and renewals
  • Provide new business quotations and re-broking existing renewals
  • Face-to-face client meetings occasionally both inside and outside the office

About You

  • You will need a minimum of 2-3 years Account Handling experience
  • You will ideally have experience in Property Owners Insurance, however, this is not essential
  • Exceptional communication, customer service and relationship building skills
  • You will have strong organisational skills
  • Solid verbal and written skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a ‘cando’ attitude
