Commercial Account Handler/Manager (SME)


The Company

You will be working for an large, independent and Lloyd’s of London Insurance Broker who are looking to add an Commercial Account Handler to their SME team. They have been successfully established for over 30 years and have a good reputation within the market, who provide business and personal insurance to their valued clients. This role has a hybrid working pattern as well as attractive company benefits.

  • You will be managing a portfolio Commercial SME Clients (Commercial Combined, Property Owners, Shops/Hotels, Liability, Tradesman, Professional Indemnity, Cyber and Motor)
  • Responsible for renewals, ensuring that a high retention level has been met
  • Responsible for assisting with new business quotations
  • Cross-selling relevant insurance products
  • Be a main point of contact for customer enquiries
  • Providing assistance to other team members
  • Provide an exceptional level of service to clients
  • Issuing documentation, mid-term adjustments and any policy changes.

About You

  • You will have minimum of 3 years experience of Commercial (SME) Insurance experience
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills and confident with speaking with clients
  • Experience is using Acturis would be advantageous
  • Ideally you will be Cert CII or working towards this
  • Good organisation and IT skills
