Property Account Handler (Delegated Authority)


Description

The Company

You will be working for a highly reputable and Lloyd’s of London Insurance Broker who are are now seeking a Property Account Handler to join their dynamic Property/Real Estate team. You will become an important part of their experienced, professional and knowledgeable team and will be assisting with the smooth running of their Property Delegated Authority Schemes. The team are responsible for 3,000 clients with the overall premium at around £18MILL. This is a great opportunity if you are seeking progression within a Lloyd’s Broker with excellent succession plans in place for ambitious individuals.

The Role

  • Providing quotations under the Delegated Authority Scheme
  • You will adhere to underwriter guides and regulations provided by the relevant Insurers
  • You will complete monthly and annual bordereaux returns and spreadsheet
  • You will issue appropriate documentation for renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business quotations
  • You will provide accurate reports for the team and Insurers
  • You will ensure that audits are received from insurers
  • Responsible for processing renewals and mid-terms adjustments
  • Attending regular meetings with insurers to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Provide support to the manager and team as and when required

About You

  • You will need a minimum of 2 years experience within Account Handling Delegated Authority Schemes or Underwriting
  • You will have a strong understanding of the Property Insurance market
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Solid verbal and written skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a ‘cando’ attitude
